Description | Overall objective: Enhancement of socio-economic development in the cross-border area between the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the implementation of targeted and concrete actions, based on comparative advantages of the programmes area and the joint, efficient use of resources Activity 1. Enhancement of the effectiveness of public services and practices in relation to solid waste, through joint initiatives at both sides of the border Activity 1.1 Waste management planning Activity 1.1.1 Development of guidelines BAT/BEP on zero waste concept in municipalities Activity 1.1.2 Development of guidelines on municipal waste monitoring and reporting Activity 1.1.3 Development of zero waste action plans (including site cleaning action plans etc.) in pilot municipalities Activity 1.1.4 Development of technical-investment documentation for the zero waste technique tailored to the needs of pilot municipalities Activity 1.1.5 Development of hot-spots interactive GIS maps in pilot municipalities Activity 1.2 Pilot projects Activity 1.2.1 Purchase and installation of equipment to improve waste management services and to increase recycling Activity 1.2.2 Cleaning of selected dumpsites Activity 2.
