Description | Overall objective: To contribute to socio-economic development of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina cross-border area by increasing employment possibilities, mobility, and social inclusion of vulnerable youth Specific objective: Fostering employability and social inclusion of vulnerable youth in SRB-BIH cross-border area by increasing their employment and entrepreneurship competencies through piloting and scaling innovative youth employability one-stop-shop service Project activities: 1.1. Conducting the mapping study on the local needs in the cross-border area; 1.2. Developing one-stop-shop service based on cross-sector cooperation and Mapping study; 1.3. Evaluation of the service & recommendation for future implementation and sustainability; 1.4. Organization of cross-border Round table aimed at advocacy for its recognition by local government in SRB & BIH; 2.1. Recruitment of vulnerable youth in cross-border area through youth work info campaigns; 2.2. Educational courses: A) Soft skills; B) Financial literacy C) Entrepreneurship. 3.1. Recruitment of mentors. 3.2. Organization of 2 cross-border study visits in BIH and SRB; 3.3. Developing business ideas by young people with mentorship; 3.4. Cross-border event “Elevator Pitch” aimed for promotion of successful business practices and competition for the best youth business ideas in SRB & BH; 3.5. Mentorship support for up to 6 selected best youth business ideas. |

Expected results | 1. Service responding to local needs of youth employability is developed, evaluated and recognized as model of good practice by the local self-governments in cross-border area. 2. 50 vulnerable youth from SRB and BIH cross-border area gained entrepreneurial, transferable and financial competencies. 3. Developed up to 20 business ideas by 50 young people with mentorship support and 6 are selected for further development |
