Description | Overall objective: The overall objective is to increase youth employability and employment opportunities for youth in the cross-border area. Specific objectives: SO1: Employability of vulnerable young women/men through professional orientation, quality career guidance, first work experience and entrepreneurship practice, increased. SO2: Strengthened dialogue between young motivated workforce, CSOs, companies and public institutions, workforce, CSOs, companies and public institutions. Planned activities: Activity 1 1.1. Orientation of guidance counsellors (legal frameworks, utilizing the Competencies Passport in cooperation with the offices of labour and linking with other relevant stakeholders – 6 trainings for 12 counsellors from the cross-border area) 1.1.2. Counselling and accompaniment of young people and 1.2.1. Skills development trainings (200 young unemployed) 1.3.1. Talent scouting – incubation process of 50 youth business ideas 1.3.2. Grants for enterprises (10 grants) and 1.3.3. Technical support 1.4.1. Matching potential businesses and potential candidates and 1.4.2. Placement of interns in businesses and enterprises (25 internships) Activity 2 2.1.1. Dialogue for matching needs and resources among CSOs, companies and institutions (4 round tables, 1 joint conference, 2 policy recommendations). 2.1.2. Promotion of media campaigns in the region for dissemination of best practices and information about legislative framework. 2.1.3. Joint Job Fair for employment and employability of youth |

Expected results | Expected results: Result 1: 1.1.: Young vulnerable people have received professional orientation and quality career guidance and are aware of their potential 1.2.: Young vulnerable people are enrolled in/have completed skills development training 1.3.: Young vulnerable people received business counselling / incubation and have started their own sustainable (social) business 1.4.: Established linkage between young motivated workforce (pool of young women/men) and potential employers and other stakeholders. Result 2: Awareness is raised towards a positive image on youth through knowledge transfer, exchange of good practice, promotion of role models and success stories and networking with important stakeholders. |
