Under the auspices of the European Union, the 3^rd Regional CBC Consultative Forum took place in Hotel AS Harmonia, Durres, Albania, on 25 and 26 June 2015.

This event represented a follow-up of the Forum held in Sarajevo on 11 and 12 September 2014 that had the objective to present the IPA II regulatory framework, its implementation rules and the role of the CBC programme management structures.

The main goal of the Third Forum was to discuss several aspects of the IPA II CBC programme implementation, for instance: the Bilateral Arrangements on programme implementation between the participating countries, the negotiation procedure for the direct award of a service contract to the OSs for carrying out the technical assistance priority of the CBC programmes, and a standard application package for the future calls for proposals under the IPA II CBC. In addition, the Macro-regional strategies have been presented.

This Forum gathered 6o participants coming from the WB national authorities, Delegations of the European Union from the Region and European Commission – Directorate-General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, as well as Directorate-General for Regional Policy.

The Fourth CBIB+ Project Steering Committee Meeting was organised back-to-back with the Forum.
