The Steering Committee is responsible for guiding the CBIB project on a strategic level.

The first CBIB Steering Committee meeting was held at the premises of the European Commission Delegation to Serbia in Belgrade. Representatives of the related ministries from beneficiary countries were present, as well as the representatives of the Delegations of the European Commission and the European Agency for Reconstruction from the countries covered by this programme. A representative from DG Enlargement, from the European Commission in Brussels, in charge of the regional programme, also participated.

Up-to-date activities were presented at the meeting and the future ones defined. The support from the national as well as the European institutions was obtained.
