South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme
The South East Europe Programme aims to develop transnational partnerships on matters of strategic importance, in order to improve the territorial, economic and social integration process and to contribute to cohesion, stability and competitiveness of the region. For this purpose, the Programme seeks to realize high quality, result oriented projects of strategic character, relevant for the programme area.
Programme Objectives
The programme’s global objective is to improve the territorial, economic and social integration process in South East Europe and contribute to cohesion, stability and competitiveness of the area through the development of transnational partnerships and joint action on matters of strategic importance.
The global and specific objectives of the Operational Programme are pursued through 4 Priority Axes:

Programme Management
The Joint Technical Secretariat for the programme is located in Budapest with national contact points in all participating countries.
Eligible area
The cooperation area of what was, during the previous programming period (2000-2006), known as CADSES (Central, Adriatic, Danubian and South-Eastern European Space), has now (2007-2013) become divided into 2 spaces: the Central Europe Programme (CENTRAL) and the South East Europe Space (SEE). The South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme has the largest cooperation area, with 16 participating countries. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia are all eligible for cooperation under this programme.
