Description Overall objective: To support the employability of the labour force, and increasing the employment opportunities in the Mačva District (SR) and Zenica-Doboj Kanton (BiH)
Specific objective: To mitigate the lack of skilled workforce for the metal industry in the area of the Cities of Šabac (SR) and Visoko (BiH)

Expected results Result 1. The Local Partnership for Employment is established in Visoko and delivered a Local Action Plan for Employment
Result 2. New training point with 3 training components (educational programmes) for unemployed established and delivers skilled workforce based on the needs of the local industry in Visoko
Result 3. Two (2) new training components (educational programmes) for unemployed established and deliver skilled workforce based on the needs of the local industry in Šabac
Result 4. Unemployed persons obtained new practical skills in real working environments (with private and public sector operators), based on the labour market demand and similarities at both sides of the border
Expected outputs • 6 private and/or public sector operators developing possibilities and conditions for practical training of unemployed
• 5 training courses for vulnerable groups certified for continuity, meeting the demands of the labour market in Visoko and Šabac
• 50 unemployed participants with increased employability and employment competences
• 10 organisations directly involved in the implementation of this type of projects
• 2 policy papers on active labour market measures (LAPEs) adopted
• 17 sets of equipment purchased and made available to target groups
