Description Overall objective: To improve the volume, quality and visibility of tourism related to valorisation of cultural heritage and values
Specific objective: To enhance cultural tourism offer of Prokletije cross border region.
The foreseen activities within the project are:
• Research on the most representative cultural heritage assets of targeted region;
• Preparation of study on the valorization of culture heritage with potential for tourism development
• Development of cultural routes;
• Improving conditions at cultural route points to provide better services to tourists;
• Capacity building of service providers along the routes
• Setting up of signalization to promote newly developed offer;
• Development of promotional materials and websites;
• Organization of promotional events
Expected results Expected results of the project are:
1. Cultural heritage resources analyzed and mapped
2. Thematic cultural routes created
3. Tourism offer of Prokletije region promoted
Expected outputs Expected outputs of the project are:
• At least 50 individuals interviewed to collect data
• 2 Inventories including culture heritage assets of targeted region created
• 2 studies prepared, 500 pcs printed (200 alb, 200 mne, 100 engl)
• Number of 3 thematic routes created and signalization set up
• Number of cultural points at routes – at least 30
• Technical capacities improved – 4 audio guides,
• 2 interactive displays will be prepared,
• 4 laptops will be purchased ,
• 2 multifunctional devices will be purchased,
• 2 projectors will be purchased
• 22 points, locations with improved conditions
• Three Capacity building of service providers along the routes at least for 50 participants
• Setting up of 6 info board signalization to promote newly developed offer
• Development of promotional materials and websites
• The 6000 brochures will be printed
• The 6000 catalogues will be printed,
• One website will be created (for TO Gusinje and minor intervention on existing website of TO Peja) and
• 2 promotional videos will be produced.
