Description The overall objective of the project is to improve reproductive health of women from the programme area, with the emphasis on vulnerable groups.

The specific objectives of the project are:
1: To improve access to and quality of reproductive health services in the programme area, especially for socially vulnerable groups;
2: To raise awareness on the importance of protecting reproductive health, especially among socially vulnerable groups.

The foreseen activities within the project are:
1.1 Procure new equipment for health centres;
1.2 Organize trainings on usage of new equipment;
1.3 Organize round tables on improvement of reproductive health;
2.1 Conduct a Survey on knowledge and habits regarding reproductive health;
2.2 Organize lectures in local communities;
2.3 Organize lectures for high school students;
2.4 Prepare, print and distribute brochure on reproductive health;
2.5 Broadcast TV spot;
2.6 Organize TV and radio shows, newspaper articles and website texts;
2.7 Develop, print and distribute promotional materials;
2.8 Mark October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month;
2.9 Mark Cervical Cancer Prevention Week;
3.1 Prepare the Campaign of preventive examinations;
3.2 Organize the Campaign of preventive examinations;
4.1 Organize the cross-border Conference on Improvement of Reproductive Health;
4.2 Organize cross-border meetings;
4.3 Develop and sign Memorandum of Understanding.

Expected results 1: Improved capacity of health centres and the quality of reproductive health services;
2: General population with the emphasis on socially vulnerable groups in the target area; provided with the information on the importance of protecting reproductive health;
3: Campaign of organized preventive examinations implemented;
4: Improved cross-border cooperation in the improvement of reproductive health
Expected outputs • New equipment for health centres procured and functional (Ultrasound machine, Instruments for primary health care, Chemicals for PAP test, Mammography cassettes, colposcope, Ultrasound (incl. monitor and special vaginal sensor), Autoclave, Urine-test sticks, Glucometer, Hemoglobinometer, CTG, Pregnancy test, Condoms, Specula-set, Vaginal sensor ultrasound) for the diagnosis of cervical cancer and breast cancer;
• 2 trainings on usage of medical equipment organized for medical staff;
• 4 round tables on improvement of reproductive health organized;
• Survey implemented at the beginning and end of project implementation;
• Information on knowledge and habits regarding reproductive health of women from the target region provided through the survey;
• 20 lectures organized in local communities in the target region (200 women from the target region improved their knowledge on reproductive health through lectures in local communities);
• 20 lectures organized in high schools in the target region (200 high school students from the target region improved their knowledge on reproductive health through lectures in local communities);
• 2000 brochures on reproductive health printed and distributed and TV spot broadcast in both countries;
• 20 TV and radio shows and features organized during project implementation and 50 newspaper articles published during project implementation;
• Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Cervical Cancer Prevention Week marked through series of activities;
• Campaign of preventive examinations prepared and at least 500 examinations scheduled and implemented within the project;
• Conference on Improvement of Reproductive Health organized;
• 9 cross-border meetings organized and Memorandum of Understanding developed and signed;
• 2702 promotional items printed and distributed (Notebooks, pens, roll-ups, bags, T-shirts, USB sticks, Umbrellas, Mugs, Calendars).
