The overall objective of the project is to contribute to development of sustainable and good quality tourism products in cross-border areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

Specific objective: To contribute to development of an integrated Foča-Plužine cross-border tourist destination, internationally recognisable for active tourism.

Planned activities:

Activity 1
1.1 Preparation and adopting of an integrated tourism development strategy for Foča-Plužine
1.2 Preparation and signing of a MoU by two municipalities for joint financing of tourism development projects in cross-border area
1.3 Promotion of the joint strategy and the joint financing policy among key stakeholders and beneficiaries

Activity 2
2.1 Installation of the adventure park in Plužine
2.2 LED illumination of the main touristic attractions in Foča
2.3 Purchasing e-bikes for MTB for Plužine and Foča

Activity 3
3.1 Design and installation of signalisation boards on key tourist destinations in Foča and Plužine
3.2 Installation of benches with solar panels for charging mobile phone at remote destinations
3.3 Installation of sightseeing platforms at key tourist destinations in Foča and Plužine

Activity 4
4.1 Coordination of rescue services from two sides of the border
4.2 Organising rescue drills at tourist destinations
4.3 Purchasing equipment for rescuing at Piva Lake and Drina River

Activity 5
5.1 Organising opening ceremony for LED illumination of Foča and adventure park in Plužine
5.2 Organising promo trips for tour operators, outdoor influencers and journalists for key tourism destinations in Foča and Plužine
5.3 Design and preparation of printing tourism promo material for Foča and Plužine
5.4 Preparation of video materials for tourism promotion of Foča and Plužine
5.5 Promotion at the international tourism fairs and outdoor events
5.6. Organization of project launching
5.7 Design and preparation of visual identity and promo tools
5.8 Promotion of project results at the website, in traditional and digital media

Planned result:
Result 1: Policy for integrated tourism development prepared and adopted by respective municipal assemblies
Result 2: New cross-border tourism products developed
Result 3: Small-scale tourism infrastructure improved
Result 4: Increased safety on tourist destinations
Result 5: Cross-border area two municipalities promoted as a single destination for active tourism
