The regional workshop for IPA II JTS staff was organised on 23 and 24 May 2017 in Durrës, Albania by CBIB+2 project and under the auspices of the European Union.
The main goal of this event was to bring together the IPA CBC community to take stock of the implementation challenges of the IPA II CBC programmes and discuss topics of a common interest. These include the implementation of technical assistance service contract, the JTS manual of procedures, ex-post monitoring and impact assessment, a monitoring system, etc.
The technical working group on strategic projects was also organised back-to-back with this event, as well as several bilateral meetings (on IPA II CBC programme level).
The meeting gathered 44 participants coming from the IPA II CBC programmes’ JTSs, Operating Structures and EU Delegations/Office from the WB region, as well as from DG NEAR (Directorate General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations) from Brussels.
