The initial meeting on programming under the IPA II cross border co-operation (CBC) was organized on 24 April 2013 in Brussels, back to back with the meeting on CBC organised by DGREGIO on 22-23 April 2013.
The main purpose of the meeting was to explain the preparatory work for the programming of CBC at intra Western Balkan borders under IPA II, as well as to provide an update on the IPA Multi-beneficiary CBIB+ project which started in January 2013.
The meeting provided an opportunity for each beneficiary to outline their expectations, needs and possible concerns regarding the forthcoming CBC programme.
In total, 37 participants representing the beneficiary countries as well as Delegations of the European Union from the Western Balkan region and Directorate General for Enlargement gathered on the meeting.
