Bulgaria – Serbia

IPA cross-border programme between Bulgaria and Serbia is a continuation of the cooperation already established in the previous programming period, under the Neighbourhood Programme between the two countries.

Overall Objective of the Programme:

To strengthen territorial cohesion of the Bulgarian – Serbian cross-border region, its competitiveness and sustainability of its development through co-operation in the economic, social and environmental area over the administrative borders.

The overall objective will be implemented through 3 Priority Axes:

 

 
Priority I Development of small-scale infrastructure
 
Priority II Enhancing capacity for joint planning, problem solving and development
 
Priority III
Technical assistance
 

   

Programme Management

The Managing Authority for the Programme is the Bulgarian Мinistry of Regional Development and Public Works, Directorate General "Programming of Regional Development", "Cross border cooperation – external borders" Department. Ministry of Finance is the institution responsible for the Programme in Serbia.

The Programme’s Joint Technical Secretariat is located in Sofia, Bulgaria, with the branch office in Serbia, in Nis.
